As one of two premier developments from Fastmark, Nora is a beautifully designed, mid-tier townhouse built for couples and downsizers. Located in an accessible, yet quiet, family neighbourhood of Vancouver, the homes create a serene retreat from the city.

goal

My goal was to create a cohesive brand at all touchpoints, one that felt at home with its brother development, Beau, while standing on its own and having its own voice. I chose, in both design and copy, to highlight the quiet and lush location, heritage surroundings, and warm and sophisticated interior design of the townhouses.

process

Playing into the community’s history and the botanical gardens at Queen Elizabeth, the brand showcases a sense of place. An evocative Art Nouveau typeface for the name creates a bold and memorable mark, grounding the traditional wallpaper-style patterns and nature photography, and an earthy green colour palette provides a neutral backdrop. The effect is soft and warm, yet modern and youthful.
